Would you like to use your experience and knowledge to recruit apprentices and eventually train to become an Assessor?

You may have never considered becoming an Assessor, or you may have toyed with the idea as you have tonnes of occupational competency under your belt? Maybe you're unsure about how to get into the training sector without having to go back to college?

Well THIS could be your opportunity! Our client has won apprenticeship contracts with some major blue chip organisations and they are seeking individuals based anywhere from the South Midlands up to the North East/South Yorkshire regions, to travel to companies premises to complete the apprenticeship paperwork and talk learners through the apprenticeship process. As you’d be liaising with new apprentices you’d need to be able to demonstrate a friendly, helpful personality with a patient and supportive nature. Obviously you’ll be of smart personal presentation as you’d be seen as a representative of this prestigious Training Provider.

The training organisation offers exciting continual professional development for this role. You would be given the chance, after a qualifying period, to train to become an Assessor, where you could draw upon your knowledge of any of the sectors listed above, and receive ongoing training and development, to add more strings to your bow! And once qualified, the sky's the limit as there is a wide range of possibilities for career progression!

Trainee Assessors : The essentials.

• Literacy and numeracy to level 2 or above or GCSE Maths and English
• Willingness to drive to various locations to sign up apprentices
• Full clean driving license and use own vehicle
• Willingness to progress and working towards Assessing Qualification
• Smartly presented

Trainee Assessors : Your experience.

• At least 12 month’s previous track record in any of the following: Warehousing, Logistics, Manufacturing, Team Leading, PMO or BIT, Retail, Business Administration or Customer Service
• Good administration skills and attention to detail
• Good command of verbal and written English language
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent time keeping skills, and able to manage own diary effectively

Trainee Assessors : The desirables.

• Prior teaching/training experience or qualifications would be a bonus
• Health & Safety Qualifications

Trainee Assessors : The organisation.

• £22,000 - £24,000 (DOE & Qualifications) rising up to £28,000 once completed a 6-8month programme
