Job Description

Naturally to be successful in this role you'll demonstrate strong commercial & business acumen, with previous sales experience and negotiating skills at Director level in a target driven environment. Business Development Manager (Training): The role.

• Reporting directly to the Business Development Director you will be responsible for growing the training provision within the construction industry on behalf of this Excellent Training Provider.
• Covering the North Yorkshire area you will be expected to generate your own leads by telephone, face to face methods & other networking activities.
• Ensure that KPIs are met and exceeded, also ensuring that the quality and excellent customer service is maintained to the highest standard.
• Flexibility to travel and a team player are essential requirements for this exciting newly created role
• Full UK Driving Licence is required
• A Basic Salary of £25,000 is on offer with the ability to earn Bonus which will be discussed with the individual at interview
• A company Vehicle with a Fuel Card
• Generous Holiday entitlement of 21 Days (Increases on a yearly basis to 25) + Bank Holidays
• Pension Scheme
• Mobile phone, Laptop and other tools of the trade are provided
• A DBS (formerly CRB) check prior to commencement of role is required.

Business Development Manager (Training): The essentials.

• A good understanding and relevant experience within the Construction, Health & Safety sectors would be advantageous
• Work Based Learning or Educational Background and a sound understanding of Funding Streams and Awarding Bodies
• Previous sales experience and negotiating skills at Director level in a target driven environment
• Passion and the ability to create successful solutions to clients individual needs
• Strong Commercial awareness teamed with a proven successful track record in a similar role
• Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications (at Level 2 or Above)
• Excellent communication skills

• A proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets
• Accurate report writing and record keeping skills
