Job Description
My client, a training provider of Apprenticeships and other training programmes are looking for a Business Development Manager / Account Manager to join their expanding team in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.

As a Business Development Manager / Account Manager, you will be joining a small passionate team of apprenticeship sales professionals with the aim of promoting and managing the recruitment of learners onto Apprenticeships and matching job vacancies to suitable candidates. The company’s core remit is technology and sourcing candidates who are passionate, driven and technically gifted.

The company are known nationally with offices throughout the UK. They have gained an established reputation in the world of Commercial Training and are continuously growing in size.

Specific Responsibilities:
• Working with the Recruitment Team Leader to recruit candidates across many vacancies throughout England.
• Update and manage in-house systems with relation to learner recruitment and engagement.
• Tele-interviewing potential candidates, offering interview advice and guidance, chasing references for candidates, organising candidate / employer interviews.
• Formatting candidates CVs, Searching CV and internal databases for suitable candidates.
• Advertising opportunities in addition to developing a network with local organisations such as schools, colleges, advice and guidance providers.
• Managing clients expectations including the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to offer


• Previous recruitment experience ideally gained within a work based learning setting , IT, Technical or Digital Marketing is essential.
• A proven track record in achieving targets through individual performance.
• You will be self-motivated with a proven track record in sales including cold calling and B2B.
• Communication skills that engage people and promote understanding.
• Experience of working in a tele-recruitment role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional presentation, administration and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Government funded programmes would be ideal
