Bonus points if you already have an teaching qualification but it's not a deal breaker as this outstanding organisation is happy to take on someone who has heaps of Engineering industry knowledge who is keen to get into training. Engineering Trainer (Trainee): The essentials.

• Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications (at Level 2 or Above)
• Relevant Engineering qualification at Level 3
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Engineering Trainer (Trainee): Your experience.

• Proven knowledge of Engineering industry
• The ability to deliver English, Maths and Functional Skills in addition to the main programme
• Up to date knowledge of the Ofsted and QAA for Higher Education Inspectorate process


Engineering Trainer (Trainee): The desirables.

• Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd, 7407) (or be willing to work towards and achieve within an agreed timescale)

Engineering Trainer (Trainee): The role.

• Participate in the interviewing, enrolment and induction of learners
• Provide teaching and learning whether in the classroom, workshop and other external venues where appropriate
• Deliver Maths and English at an appropriate level to the requirement of the student's' programme of study
• Provide ongoing assessment and feedback to learners by setting and marking work both relevant and appropriate to the course
• Provide appropriate academic and/or vocational support to individual learners
• Contribute to the maintenance of an effective, efficient and professional learning environment.
• £23,416 - £35,442 (Depending on experience and qualifications)
