Finance & Compliance Officer: The essentials.

• Minimum Level 3 AAT or other Finance Qualification
• Sage & Sage Line 50 Payroll Packages
• General Finance Knowledge (Within a Funding/Training environment)
• Trustworthy & committed to achieving goals/tasks that are set
• Must have an eye for detail and accuracy in a challenging and changing environment
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
• Knowledge of SFA funding
• Knowledge of ESF funding
• Knowledge of government funded employment and training programmes


Finance & Compliance Officer: Your experience.

• Occupational history and competence within the industry
• Experience in a similar role
• Accurate report writing and record keeping skills
• Excellent communication skills


Finance & Compliance Officer: The desirables.

• Level 4 AAT or ACCA
• Experience of Accounting Grants
• Experience in working with a charity or Not For Profit Organisation

Our chosen provider also offer apprenticeships in Health & Social Care, Business Admin, Customer Service, Management employing fully qualified staff to ensure their high standards are passed on to their learners.


Finance & Compliance Officer: The role.

• Reporting Directly to the Chief Executive & Project Manager, this demanding role will require a tenacious person who is thorough with an eye for detail to fulfil this demanding role.
• Your responsibilities will include preparing and checking all financial allocations of expenditure and allocate to funding streams where appropriate.
• Preparing financial and data reports for funding report and performance management
• Purchase and Sales Ledger Duties
• Process of Monthly Payroll, including queries & issuing Payslips and other related payroll duties
• Cash Flow, & Credit Control Duties
• VAT & HMRC Duties
• Supporting role for Tenders & Bids
• General accounts & administration duties
• Credit Control
• Will be some travel to other Centre's so a full UK Driving Licence is required
• Salary £24,000 per annum
• Flexible Working Hours
• Stakeholder Pension
• Mileage is paid at 40p per mile
• 21 Days Holiday & Bank Holiday which will increase on a yearly basis to a maximum of 25 days
• Childcare Vouchers
• Continuous Personal Development is offered and encouraged to all staff
• A DBS (formerly CRB) check prior to commencement of role is required.
