Job Description
As Finance Administrator you will be responsible for providing financial management and administration support for the new levy and digital apprenticeship system within a large organisation. Analytical thinking, hawk like attention to detail and advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas etc.) will help you create robust and accurate reports, models, budgets and forecasts to aid business performance. Previous experience within a similar role along with exceptional MS Office skills is a requisite for this role; and a financial qualification or an interest in working towards one would be beneficial, but not a necessity. This is a 6 month fixed term contract, and as with all contract positions there is the possibility of extension or even becoming permanent, however, this role will provide heaps of valuable experience for future employment within the newly emerging Levy Funding management departments of large organisations across the country!


Finance Administrator : The essentials.

• Excellent MS Office skills, in particular advanced MS Excel skills e.g. pivot tables, formulas etc
• Strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of ESF funding
• Full UK driving licence and use of own car
• Knowledge of government funded employment and training programmes

Finance Administrator : The role.

• Responsible in providing support in the running of a safe and efficient apprenticeship levy finance operation
• Providing financial and administration to support and governance for the levy and digital apprenticeship system
• Ensure that the changes to financial and process requirements are communicated and implanted promptly
• Support initiatives for under utilisation of the levy allocations across the business
• Support financial strategies, plans and targets to develop existing & new business
• Support the preparation of robust process and solutions are implemented and monitored for managing the levy budget
• £22,000 per annum
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• 10% Company & Performance based bonus scheme
• Private healthcare
