Job Description
Are you looking to move your career forward? Our exclusive client has partnered with GPRS to attract the cream of the crop of candidates to enhance their workforce and fulfil their expectations! Ideally you will be residing in the North West area, and your career in Engineering would have spanned a good 10 years with an occupational background ideally at Management Level (PMO or PEO) alongside a sound knowledge of Apprenticeships, assessment and quality experience would be advantageous. Interviews will be held in our client's premises in Hertfordshire on the 10th and 12th October, and you will be reimbursed for travel expenses.



Monitoring Officer - Engineering Sector: The essentials.

• HNC/HND Qualified
• Achievement of a recognised Apprenticeship in an Engineering related sector
• Knowledge of government funded employment and training programmes
• Knowledge of SFA funding
• Knowledge of ESF funding
• Sound understanding of E-Portfolio assessment systems
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel UK wide
• Well organised & able to multi-task
• Team Player


Monitoring Officer - Engineering Sector: Your experience.

• 10 Years Sound Occupational Background in Engineering ideally at Management level (PMO or PEO)
• Excellent communication skills at Director Level
• Accurate report writing and record keeping skills, teamed with sound analytical skills and be able to handle business and technical information
• Planning and delivering vocational training programmes and workshops
• The ability to motivate and encourage people

• A1 Qualification
• IQA Qualification
• Excellent IT skills including Excel, Internet and word processing required

Monitoring Officer - Engineering Sector: The role.

• Reporting to the Head of Apprenticeships this exciting opportunity will require you to take responsibility and monitor the progress of apprenticeships within the Engineering sector, ensuring that all criteria is being met to the highest of standards within the industry.
• Delivery of inductions on and off site for Apprentices on Programme will be part of the role, as well as co-ordinating, planning and processing reports internally.
• The role will keep you on your toes as you will be expected to travel around Yorkshire, Lancaster and the North East areas of the country, liaising with Apprentices, Training Providers, Employers, and Awarding Bodies in relation to Engineering Apprenticeship Programmes, being able to give sound business advice at all levels including funding, grants and costing's where necessary.
• You will be high rewarded with a salary of £32,499 per annum
