Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Business Development professional with a thorough comprehension of selling Training & Development opportunities to companies across the UK. Managing your own budget you will be responsible for devising your own marketing plans to develop and up-sell to existing clients and engage new ones. This business has been offering its services for over four decades, in the UK and, more recently, globally. National Business Development Manager: The essentials.

• A background within education sales: such as selling training programmes, government funded employment and apprenticeships ideally
• Full UK driving licence and use of own car


National Business Development Manager: Your experience.

• Experience of business development on a national basis
• Excellent marketing ability and communication skills
• A proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets


National Business Development Manager: The desirables.

• Background within marketing/project management/business advising


National Business Development Manager: The organisation.

• A highly reputable UK based Trust with over four decades under its belt. Encompassing a highly successful Training & Development sector they deliver high impact, experiential leadership courses and programmes both in the UK and globally.


National Business Development Manager: The role.

• A nationwide field based role developing new and existing relationships with key clients, selling 'Open Courses' and 'Bespoke' leadership courses to large companies at a senior level
• Consulting with existing and prospective clients about their leadership development needs, offering a range of training solutions suitable to both small and large businesses.
• Carrying out a wide range of sales and marketing activities to help maximise business opportunities with both new and existing clients
• Responsible for managing individual monthly and annual budgets
• Project managing large scale contracts
• Deliver leadership road-show events, seminars or speaking engagements as required
• This is a home based, national, role however weekly visits to the head office in the midlands will be required.
• Salary £35,000 per annum
• Car Allowance £5,600
