Regional Business Development Consultant

The role… 

Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, you will strive to achieve and exceed your monthly learner starts target. This is a fulfilling, involved and extremely hands-on role within an expanding and progressive company. With bonus structures in place to increase your income following the achievement of sales targets, your incentive to produce fantastic results will be driven by your desire to gain commission. 

You can expect the role to involve: 

  • Identifying and then engaging with appropriate employers to promote apprenticeships and other training courses, incorporating both Government and privately/commercially funded courses, including the promotion of 24+ loans where appropriate 
  • Generating quality new start volumes onto appropriate apprenticeship programmes in line with regional Personal Tutor capacity whilst ensuring all eligibility criteria is met 
  • Finding suitable work based learners and corresponding apprenticeship vacancies 
  • Activities to build new business such as cold calling, warm calls and face to face engagement 

Criteria required…

  • Ideally 2 years minimum experience in a sales, telesales or recruitment environment 
  • Strong track record of working to and achieving sales targets 
  • Sound Commercial Knowledge 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Planning and organisational skills 
  • Strong time management skills 
  • IT Literate 
  • Clean driving licence and access to a car 
  • Energetic and positive 
  • Ability to energise others 
  • Confident decision maker that takes responsibility for their choices
