Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen, for a training professional to join a new function within this Grade 1 Ofsted Private Training Provider! We need someone with strong occupational competence within Residential Childcare (ideally at Senior or Management level) and a bona fide passion for teaching and learning! With this being a new function within the provider, you will firstly help in the development of the programmes before given a caseload of your own learners to help in the successful achievement their qualifications. Residential Childcare Assessor: The essentials.

• Assessor Qualification (A1, TAQA, D32/D33..)
• Knowledge of government funded employment and training programmes including new standards
• Full UK driving licence and willing to travel


Residential Childcare Assessor: Your experience.

• Have a strong occupational competence within Residential Childcare (ideally at Senior or Management level)
• Have experience in a similar position
• Have a passion for progressing candidates and have a fresh teaching approach
• Have strong communication skills to be able to liaise with clients and learners
• Be a strong team-played, with a flexible approach to making a positive impact in this new provision


Residential Childcare Assessor: The desirables.

• Hold a Teaching Qualification (PTLLS min..)
• Hold an IV Qualification (V1, IQA, D43..)

Residential Childcare Assessor: The role.

• You will be part of small team and help in the development and delivery of high quality apprenticeships and learning programmes in the Lancashire Region.
• The successful candidate will already have the experience of delivering Residential Childcare Qualifications at Level 3 and ideally to Level 5, including 1-2-1 delivery and group sessions and also the delivery of Functional Skills.
• With this being a new function within the provider, you will firstly help in the development of the programmes before given a caseload of your own learners to help in the successful achievement their qualifications.
• This role will initially be centre based in Preston.

• £24k annually (may be negotiable DOE & Qualifications)
