Job Description

My client is recruiting for a unique and invested role in their drive for Outstanding in Teaching, Learning and Assessment. This person will have the desire to combine their experience of teaching, learning and assessment with the develop of outstanding resources.

My client is at the forefront of providing jobs and skills advice, training and apprenticeships to support young people, adults into work with reputable employers and training.

The role will support the development of a range of resources across work based learning and vocational programmes and will have a strong understanding of curriculum design. They will need to be able to work with learners, delivery staff and employers to ensure that programmes are fit for purpose, meet all the requirements and are exciting and engaging and strive for outstanding.

The role will also need to have a solid understanding of Management Information and E-portfolio systems, along with super IT skills, whilst being creative and innovative to ensure resources accommodate multi media.

The successful candidate will:

• Delivery qualification of at least Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent
• Minimum Grade C GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
• Be qualified Internal Quality Assurer
• Experience of developing curriculum models, visit cycles, paperwork etc to drive efficiencies
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience with delivering English and Maths in a vocational work-based learning setting
• Experience of content development at a variety of levels and a variety of media
• Experience of working with employers to develop curriculum and programmes that are individually tailored.
• Experience of delivering outstanding teaching and learning to groups and individual one to ones
• Excellent practical and theoretical knowledge of Study Programmes and Apprenticeships
• Knowledge of online, distance and blended learning models
• Knowledge of e-portfolio systems and their development and Management information systems
• Ability to produce high quality resources to support learning

• Up to £34,000 per annum
