These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the NVQ Jobs (Company) website and your relationship with the Company. Registration

In order to apply for a position or to access or receive job alerts you must register on the Company website. If you register, you must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.

You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering by updating your personal details in order that we can communicate with you effectively.

 

If you register to use the Company website you will be asked to create a password. In order to prevent fraud, you must keep this password confidential and must not disclose it or share it with anyone. If you know or suspect that someone else knows your password you should notify us by contacting us immediately.

If the Company has reason to believe that there is likely to be a breach of security or misuse of the Company website, we may require you to change your password or we may suspend your account.

Or the final terms and duration of any appointment obtained through the Company website.

General

In these terms and conditions:

a. A References to we, us or our are references to NVQjobs.com.

b. A reference to Customer means any person, company, organisation or firm which purchases Services from NVQjobs.com

c. Order means an order for Services on a form or email provided by us (in any format) or if a package is purchased online via E-invoice.

d Services means all recruitment products and services made available by us from time to time.

e. Contract Month means, in respect of any order relating to the provision of Services for a specified period of months, the calendar month commencing on the start date specified in the order and ending on the day before the same date in the next calendar month. For example, the calendar month commencing on 24 February and ending 23 March.

f. Contract Term means the full term specified in the Order Form, Email or online Payment Plan.

Prices

Prices are guaranteed for the period stated on the Order Form or Rate Card. Prices are confidential and may not be disclosed by the Customer.

A job posted on NVQjobs.com will remain live for 30 days or such shorter time as we agree with the Customer. Unless specified by an NVQ Jobs representative.

If any Services to be used within any time period specified on the Order Form are not used within that period of time they may not be carried over into any subsequent period without our prior written consent. The Customer will be responsible for payment for any unused Services.

Payments

All invoices are payable within 14 days. Late payment will entitle us to suspend customers access to our website and the outstanding monies will be passed to a third party for collection which will incur extra costs.

Termination

We may terminate the provision of Services if:

i. The Customer is in material breach of these terms and conditions and has not remedied such breach within ten days of notice specifying the breach and requiring that it be remedied, or:

ii. The Customer becomes insolvent, ceases to trade or goes into liquidation.

 

 

Job Posting

Employment agencies and employment businesses

If you are an employment agency or an employment business it is your responsibility to ensure that advertisements you place on NVQjobs.com comply with your obligations under various regulations together with applicable guidelines..

Responses to advertisements

You agree to deal fairly and professionally with individuals who may respond to an advertisement you have posted and not do anything, which may bring NVQjobs.com into disrepute. You will indemnify NVQjobs.com from and against any claim brought by an individual against NVQjobs.com arising from your breach of this obligation or any other of these terms and conditions.

We do not guarantee any response to your advertisement or that responses will be from individuals suitable for the job advertised. It is your responsibility to carry out such checks and procedures as are necessary to ensure that candidates are suitable for the job advertised and have the required qualifications and personal characteristics.

Site availability

We will endeavour to ensure that NVQjobs.com is available to users of the World Wide Web 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, at times the site may be partially or completely unavailable due to technical faults or reasons beyond our control such as failures by third party service providers or a risk of virus attack. We will rectify these discrepancies as quickly as possible, but you agree that we shall have no financial liability to you in the event of such unavailability.

IT Equipment

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the appropriate equipment and are connected to the appropriate services to enable you to post jobs to NVQjobs.com

Links

If your advertisement links to another site, you are responsible for maintaining the links and for the content of your advertisement and the linked site. We may remove from NVQjobs.com any advertisement, which contains content or links to a site, which, in our opinion, is objectionable or will bring NVQjobs into disrepute. You will indemnify us from and against any claims or liability arising from content or links contained in your advertisements

Third party sites

Vacancies you post on NVQjobs.com may also appear on third party recruitment web sites pursuant to agreements from time to time between NVQjobs.com and the proprietors of such web sites.

 

 

Use of Candidate Database

Employment agencies and employment businesses

If you are an employment agency or an employment business it is your responsibility to ensure that the use you make of information from our candidate database complies with your obligations under the various regulations made under it, together with any applicable guidelines.

Use of the database

The material you are entitled to receive from the candidate database is determined by the product you have purchased from us. On receipt of this material you may:

i. Use, search or download it to your database for the purpose of finding suitable candidates for specific job vacancies that you or (if you are an employment agency or employment business) your client wish to fill.

ii. Use the information about the individuals contained in the database for the purpose of contacting them (either directly or through NVQjobs.com depending on the product you have purchased) in relation to a specific job vacancy.

iii. Use the information only in connection with your own recruitment-related activities.

You may NOT:

i. Supply, sell or license material from the candidate database, or a copy of it, to any other person, including another member of your group of companies.

ii. Contact the individuals on the database or make or allow any use of the information about those individuals, other than for the purpose of finding suitable candidates for specific job vacancies. You must, at all times, comply with the Data Protection and all subsequent legislation and regulations.

Dealings with candidates

You will indemnify NVQjobs from and against any claim brought by an individual against NVQjobs arising from your breach of this obligation or any other of these terms and conditions.

However, at times the site or search facility may be partially or complete unavailable due to technical faults or reasons beyond our control such as failures by third party service providers or risk of virus attack. We will deal with these situations as quickly as possible, but you agree that we shall have no financial liability to you in the event of such unavailability.

Passwords

Passwords are for the sole use of the person to whom they are issued. We may deny access to a password if we reasonably believe that an unauthorised person is using it or that the user is breaching these terms and conditions.
