Amour Recruitment are proud to be working with one of Wales fastest growing training providers. Currently looking to recruit an Advice & Guidance Assessor to deliver, support and guide learners through framework and standalone qualifications providing a high-quality learning experience through consistent and monthly engagement activity and evaluation of learner and employer feedback.Ensuring continuous professional development and timely achievement of learner goals and qualifications. £20,000 – £23,063.00 per annum (DOE) Business Duties: To work within the guidance of the annual business plan To work in accordance with company’s values and ethos, Health and Safety policies and procedures To demonstrate a commitment to ESDGC and reducing our carbon footprint To ensure all funding is administered accurately, efficiently and provides value for money To develop a culture of discipline in all that you do To positively contribute to VSP activities, meetings and best practice groups Team Responsibilities: To take an active role in Team meetings, standardisation, design and development of assessing to assist the effective and creative delivery of framework and stand alone qualifications. To highlight and discuss learner issues providing focussed learner support where required. To support the end-to-end service approach of the Team and, where required, assist team members to ensure that all Learners receive their certificates and portfolios in a timely manner. To contribute to the overall Team achievement of profiled learner outcomes. Assessor Performance: To ensure all KPI’sare consistently achieved and performance is in line with profile on a monthly basis To maintain a positive caseload of 40 (pro rata) active learners To deliver qualifications via e portfolio to maximise full functionality To undertake monthly monitoring and tracking of Learners progress ensuring Learners are on target to achieve their framework/learning plan To ensure QA sampling is provided (if paper based) in line with agreed target date To encourage, monitor and report on learner involvement within your role highlighting innovation and positive practice. To actively engage and implement new assessment processes and techniques to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the quality of learning To ensure all learners achieve their framework / learning plan in a timely manner Learner and Employer Engagement To work in conjunction with the QPM to undertake learner engagement visits obtaining feedback from learners and employers evaluating progress and learner satisfaction To conduct and evaluate individual initial assessment ensuring all learners are on the correct programme at the right level To develop positive relationships with learners and employers on a monthly basis To actively promote the use of e-portfolio to all learners and employers To ensure all learners participate in an ‘exit interview’,to be undertaken as part of quality assurance visits, which encompasses all aspects of the process To actively seek a minimum of 2 leads per month To work with learners and employers to deal with queries and concerns regarding the quality of learning Personal Specification A1/TAQA qualified or equivalent D34/V1 or equivalent IT Literate Experience in WBL environment To maintain and develop knowledge of current products, services and funding streams To contribute to the Self-Assessment process. To actively engage in Continuous Professional Development. To take responsibility for your own appraisal, support and supervision.
