Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Assessor who can deliver generic qualifications including Business Administration, Customer Service and Team Leading up to Level 3. With a genuine passion and enthusiasm for people development, and a fresh teaching approach, you’re ready to hit the ground running with a caseload of learners in the Hertfordshire region. Business Admin/Generic Assessor Trainer: The essentials.

• Assessment/Assessing/Assessor Qualifications (A1,TAQA, CAVA)
• Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications (at Level 2 or Above)
• Sound understanding of E-Portfolio assessment systems
• Knowledge of the new standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Good time management abilities as you will be managing your own diary and booking your own appointments
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow process and ensure each module is completed properly and to the level required
• Full UK driving licence and use of own car

Business Admin/Generic Assessor Trainer: Your experience.

• Strong occupational competency (3 years minimum), working in at least one of the following: Business Administration, Customer Service and Team Leading
• At least 6 months experience Assessing/Training within Work Based Learning
• Experience of maintaining records of learners progress

Business Admin/Generic Assessor Trainer: The desirables.

• Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd, 7407)
• Management qualification at Level 5

Business Admin/Generic Assessor Trainer: The role.

• A home-based position responsible for assessing in Business Administration, Customer Service and Team Leading up to Level 3.
• Deliver Functional Skills Literacy and Numeracy up to Level 2.
• Average number of learners is 40 – 45 at various locations, so you would be travelling throughout the Hertfordshire region.
• Focused upon delivering a high quality service to learners and their employers and working towards timely completions.
• Completion of relevant paperwork.
• The successful candidate will need to have knowledge of the new standards and be willing to embrace the changes involved.
• You will need to demonstrate diverse and creative teaching methods i.e. Blended learning, such as eLearning, Workshops & Coaching.
• Salary £27,000 - £30,000 depending on experience, qualifcations and skill set
