Job Description
My client is a growing independent training provider. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Funding and Compliance Manager who can manage the funding and compliance elements of this business. If you have prior experience within funding and compliance, we're looking forward to receiving your application for this role - an interesting challenge, with a respected training provider based in Surrey. The ideal candidate will have recent experience of SFA/ESFA funding procedures and proven ability in ensuring compliance is adhered to with integrity and accuracy by conducting both internal and external audits. Within this role you will be able to work from home several days a week, with the remainder of your time spent at the centre. You will be from time to time expected to travel to meet with clients.


Funding and Compliance Manager : The essentials.

• Knowledge and experience of the OFSTED inspection process
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems i.e. Matrix
• Knowledge of SFA and ESF funding
• Knowledge of Compliance
• Knowledge of government funded employment and training programmes
• Knowledge of working with levy paying clients
• Comfortable visiting clients
• Full UK driving licence and use of own car


Funding and Compliance Manager : Your experience.

• Occupational history and competence within the work based learning sector
• Experience in a similar role (minimum 3/4 years)


Funding and Compliance Manager : The desirables.

• Previous experience of business development and being part of a bid team (Funding) (not essential)
• Verifier Qualification (IQA, V1, CAVA) (not essential)
• Degree in a Management discipline (management, supply chain management) (not essential)


Funding and Compliance Manager : The organisation.

• Based in Greater London and specializing in work-based training and vocational qualifications, this company has a proven track record of successfully delivering quality training and development to organisations and individuals. They offer a comprehensive range of Apprenticeship programmes for employed people across a range of occupational sectors.


Funding and Compliance Manager : The role.

• Responsible for AEB, Traineeships and Apprenticeships including implementing the new standards and Levy across multiple subject areas at various levels
• Responsible for developing rigorous processes and procedures to ensure high standard consistency in sub-contracted PQQ and due diligence activities, profiling and contracting and delivery, aligned to Subcontractor Controls and ESFA funding regulations
• Responsibility for the management and development of the Funding and Management Information Services Systems to improve performance and maximisation of funding potential
• Responsibility for accurate compliance of internal and external audit relating to ESFA funding streams
• Managing a team of three responsible for all aspects of funding and compliance
• Responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy and completeness of learner data and related funding claims including the management of validation and exception reports, monthly reconciliations for ILR deadlines with regular accurate reporting to Senior Management
• £30,000-42,000 per annum salary
