Job Description
Regional Delivery Team Manager
Salary -£28 - £30K + Benefits
Stirling

Summary
Responsible for the effective management of Scotland regional team of Assessors and Trainers supporting the Scotland Regional Operations Director with ensuring the delivery of the required milestone and achievement outcomes and maintaining the quality of provision.

Responsible for managing and leading a regional team of Assessors/Trainers in delivering multiple occupational sectors and generating timely income from milestones excellent achievement rates and starts performance.

Reporting to:
Scotland Regional Operations Director

Responsible for the effective management of a designated regional team of Assessors supporting the Regional Operations Director with ensuring the delivery of the required outcomes and maintaining the quality of provision.

Responsible for managing and leading a regional team of Assessors in delivering multiple occupational sectors and generating excellent achievement rates and starts performance.

Key responsibilities:
To assist and support establishing and implementing the annual regional strategy/development plan.

To manage a team of between 15 and 20 home based Assessors ensuring the delivery of full programme outcomes.

To ensure the proactive and timely recruitment of Assessors.

To maintain 100% Assessor occupancy and 80% staff retention of Assessors.

To performance manage a team of Assessors ensuring they meet individual monthly Learner Apprenticeship starts and progressions targets.

To effectively performance manage a team of Assessors ensuring individual Assessor performance is less than 5% unfunded.

To utilise the support of the IQA Manager and IQA team.

To ensure that all Management and Assessor documentation is administered promptly and without error within own area of responsibility.

To conduct regular employee appraisals and one to one meetings.

To work in partnership with the Director of Quality and Quality Forum to develop new processes as required for specific projects/areas of operation.

To develop business and collaboration partnerships/networks within a designated region.

To communicate with internal and external agencies, staff, customers, management and peers in a manner appropriate to your position at all times.

Essential Requirements
Good leadership and management skills in an Apprenticeship programme setting.
Excellent staff performance management & communication skills.
Good standard of secondary education.
Basic knowledge of quality systems.
Basic knowledge of health and safety.
Basic knowledge of equality and diversity
Excellent administration and organisational skills.
Must be computer literate.
Car owner/driver.
