Looking for a fresh and exciting challenge? You will ideally have a comprehensive knowledge of apprenticeship standards and structures of HE qualifications, or if you have the experience of Pharmaceutical Account Management (or similar) we would also like to hear from you too. Skills Account Manager: The essentials.

• Knowledge and experience of apprenticeship framework/standards and structures of HE qualifications
• Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to work on initiative and also under pressure.
• Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels including operational, management and executive.
• Highly-motivated and driven to achieve results.
• Hold a full UK driving license and have own transport


Skills Account Manager: Your experience.

• Experience of selling skills solutions including the sourcing and closing of new business opportunities; ideally within (STEM) industries
• Experience of key account management within WBL & Training
• Strong track record of improving areas of underperformance.
• The ability to successfully work within a target driven delivery area, with proven experience of achieving targets


Skills Account Manager: The desirables.

• Direct experience of screening, assessing, supporting and visiting (training / monitoring) learners.
• Understanding and experience of Sector Skills Councils and other statutory skills bodies
• Understanding of the Higher and further education system, National Apprenticeship Service, the Skills Funding Agency and funding systems.
• Have a Science or STEM background.

Skills Account Manager: The role.

• An extremely exciting opportunity has arisen within this unique private training provider for a commercially astute Account Manager.
• To provide a single, lead point of contact for business partners and employers, taking on the responsiblility for the management of their Apprenticeship, Graduate and other skills programmes.
• To build and maintain key business relationships, that supports the organisation's business plan along with identifying any new or future business opportunities.
• You will be working remotely and the already established portfolio of accounts you will be managing will be within the South East Region including Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire so the successful candidate must be willing to travel.
• To negotiate and manage (new and existing) contracts to maximise profit in line with KPIs.
