Someone with heaps of experience under their belt in the Plumbing industry, including Domestic, Commercial or Industrial Plumbing. Bonus points if you already have assessing/verifying qualifications but it's not a deal breaker as this outstanding organisation would put you through these provided you have the occupational experience required and a willingness to achieve these within an agreed timescale. Trainer/Assessor in Plumbing: The essentials.

• Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd, 7407)
• Experience within Domestic, Commercial or Industrial Plumbing
• A relevant Plumbing qualification (minimum Level 3)
• Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications (at Level 2 or Above)
• Full, clean driving licence

Trainer/Assessor in Plumbing: Your experience.

• Successful experience of designing and delivering assessment programmes
• Knowledge/Experience of working within the Plumbing industry
• Experience of managing caseloads of candidates
• Up to date knowledge of the Ofsted and Adult Learning Inspectorate process

Trainer/Assessor in Plumbing: The desirables.

• Assessor Award A1 (or be willing to work towards and achieve within an agreed timescale)
• Verifier Award V1 (or be willing to work towards and achieve within an agreed timescale)
• Experience/Knowledge within Gas plumbing and fitting

Trainer/Assessor in Plumbing: The role.

• Develop assessment procedures and opportunities that are directly linked to the scheme of work and deliver training where required to support students preparation for assessment opportunity
• To participate in recruitment and selection activities
• To plan, assess and give feedback to all students in the work place
• Provide a point of communication for students, employers and staff
• Deliver underpinning knowledge, Functional Skills and other elements required within an Apprentice framework
• To maintain professional updating and understanding of curriculum developments and demands
• £22,959 - £33,735 (Depending on experience and qualifications)
