Job Description
Are you looking for a new and exciting role with a leading training provider? Do you have a sales background or experience with apprenticeships?

Due to continued growth and success, our client currently has a position available for a full time Apprenticeship Training Coordinator. This is a rewarding role where you will be liaising with employers, learners and other key stakeholders within the recruitment process to maximise the learner experience and potential. As the key point of contact for employers, and engaging learners learners you will offer impartial Information, advice and guidance to support their achievement and progression. Successful applicants will be responsible for liasing with learners to achieve full Apprenticeship frameworks in Plymouth and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, good understanding of work based provision, excellent communication and negotiation skills, be flexible, have the ability to manage their own time, work to targets and build successful relationships with learners and employers. You’ll be a consummate professional with a proven business development or recruitment experience, who is passionate about people development and focused upon delivering a high quality service to our customers.

Main tasks

• Maintain accurate records using e-based systems

• Attract vacancies and apprenticeship opportunities from companies using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking skills.

• Offer advice to companies and learners on training and career progression

• Build diverse credible relationships to promote the company

• Attend careers conventions, job fairs etc., both in and outside of normal working hours, to publicise and promote the services offered by the Company.

• Work with others to support continuous improvement Ensure equal opportunity is practised at all times

• Any other duties as requested by the Line Manager Essential requirements

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Applicant must be willing to travel, have their own car and possess a full, valid driving licence

• Have good business generating skills and achieve recruitment targets

• Work and contributing as part of a busy team Desirable

• Experience within the Work-Based Learner Sector and Apprenticeship provision is highly desirable

• Understanding of apprenticeships and funding streams.
